Fucking Hostile

From: [email protected] (W.M.Earnshaw)

Okay, here at last is this PANTERA song. Sorry for taking so long to type it
out...

By the way, no riff involves the B or top E strings so I've just ignored them
when typing the riffs out.

RIFF#1

1-2-3-4  G----------------------
         D----------------------
         A-7-7--7-7--7-7-7-----5
         E-5-5--5-5--5-5-5-----3

         "Almost every day..."

Play this 3 times and then for the fourth time play:

         G---------------------
         D--------------------5
         A--------------5-4-3-3
         E--------------3-2-1--

The last time you play this riff, ie. before the chorus, it's:

         G------------------------------------
         D--------------------5--------------- 7
         A--------------5-4-3-3------0-0-0--12 7 -
         E--------------3-2-1-----------------

You've really got to bend the high A (12th fret) to get the right sound.

RIFF#2 (chorus):

 G--------------------------------------------
 D-7-5----7-5----7-5-------
 A-5-3--5-5-3--5-5-3--5-6-7
 E------3------3------3-4-5
        "To see..."

Play this twice, ending with "Fucking Hostile" (of course!)

RIFF#3:

Okay, this is the bit which follows the chorus, y'know, the bit with the
"We Stand Alone". Anyway, the basic riff is something like...

 G------------------
 D------------------
 A-------5-5
 E-0-0-0-303

You play this, like, six or so times and then end with

 G-------------
 D-------------
 A-------5-542-
 E-0-0-0-30320-

Oh, and the end bit. I forgot to tab it out, but basically it finishes
with the end of chorus riff, doing the

 A-5-6-7                                    A-4-5-6-7
E-3-4-5      bit twice, and then you do    E-2-3-4-5

And that, my friends, is that. Obviously I am kinda clueless when it comes
to expressing the timing of each part, but if you know the song well you
should be able to pick it up pretty easily. Sorry for any errors / typos,
and sorry that this isn't written out like some of the other TAB postings,
with every riff written out for each time you have to play it, but I reckon
that would've taken me about six years, so...
